What do you guys think of the new script uniforms? I like 'em. I feel as if Toledo hasn't had new bball uni's in a really long time, at least not a significant enough change to them to even notice. I'm glad they got creative this time.

The walk-on appears to be number 4. I checked the ut website and he is not listed. Anyone know his name and his background?

Has Boothe gained as much weight as it appears he has? He looks huge.

Like the script writing--wish it were a little larger. Oddly, I really like how the blue & gold trim looks even more!

Anyone notice that Navigato has three brothers just, ages 16, 16 and 16. Don't know if they play hoops but if they're identical that could pose a nightmare for defenders.

no word on either's piano playing skills or wardrobe but he appears to be a productive rebounder who is a bit undersized as a forward hence the late addition as a preferred walk-on non scholarship player.

Will the road jerseys have that same script?

If yes, then I will hope to buy one.

The coach mentioned two freshman may start. I wonder who? Forward and a shooting guard based on what we lost from last year? It has been a while Toledo has had this length. Chandler is a really athletic kid, and a number of these guys can shoot the lights out.

C - Nathan Boothe 6-9 Sr.

Bench
PG - Nick Rodgers 6-1 Fr.
SG - Jaelan Sanford 6-3 Fr. / Chandler White 6-2 Fr.
SF - Nate Navigato 6-7 Fr.
PF/C - Luke Knapke 6-11 Fr.
C - Zach Garber 6-10 Jr.

Coach Kowalczyk singled out Jaelan Sanford, Nate Navigato and Zach Garber, so I bet those players are the top 3 bench and or starters at some point this season.

Based on Zach's growth over the last two seasons, I am looking forward to what he brings to the floor this year.

Coach said Garber was the most improved player last year. I am still waiting to see that translate to any production on the floor.

+1. Can't reca I'll much from him other than a few capable minutes here and there. Not a huge upgrade over Wonnell, IMO. I think he WILL be, maybe this year. Hope so.

From what I saw, Garber's defense was improved last year. His rebounding was better and he actually showed some offensive skills that were missing in his first season.
