I know. All we'll hear next week is how the AAC is better than the ACC.

Aaaand once again. I know I accused a Pitt fan on here of being a broken record....well, I apologize b/c if the shoe fits...

And it fits me perfectly! It is simply better not to schedule these games because they've nothing to lose & they think they can pull themselves out of the G5 by beating ACC teams. Simply no reason for this. Schedule Mac, Sbc, but not 'Murcain.

And if they don't get themselves out, they will be more than happy to drag us down into purgatory with them.

Hope 'Cuse can win this in the end...

It's not like it's the head coaches job to make sure your defense doesn't suck, or that you have depth at RB and OL.

These games are necessary though.

You can't schedule 4 Idaho's or New Mexico State's.

Special Teams: They lost their ST coach who cleaned everything up and so it is back to ST by committee. Aka garbage.

Defense: 1st string is legit... 2nd is not. 1st string is worn out easily thanks to the parade of 3 and out by the offense.

Offense: What part of "there is nobody left at A-Back" don't you understand? N-O-B-O-D-Y. If somebody at A-Back gets injured in this game, it will force a burned redshirt or somebody to move a position over. A-Backs seal the edge of the run game. A-Backs provide the speed on the perimeter in the run game. A-Backs provide down field blocks on the secondary to turn decent runs into huge runs. A-Backs are receivers in the pass game. A-Backs are extra blocking protection on pass plays. And it's a bunch of walk-ons and true freshmen (burned redshirts no less) playing all these responsibilities ALL GAME out there. And you wonder why they block like dog sh*t? Justin Thomas could be Tom Brady ... he wouldn't do well either with this level of "protection" and "blocking".

A-Backs:
BJ Bostic: Graduated
Charles Perkins: Graduated
Tony Zenon: Graduated
Deon Hill: Graduated

Dennis Andrews: Dismissed from team
Myles Autry: Released from letter of intent

Broderick Snoddy: Injured
Qua Searcy: Injured, Out for season

JJ Green: Transfer, Ineligible
Omahri Jarrett: Redshirt TFR
Chris Turner: Redshirt TFR
Nate Cottrell: Redshirt TFR
KirVonte Benson: Redshirt TFR

Isiah Willis: Playing
Austin McClellan: Playing
Roberto Hinojosa: Walk on ... Playing
Clinton Lynch: Playing as a RS FR

That's it folks. There is nobody left on the official roster -- which includes walk-ons. That's FOUR players, all from the very bottom of the depth chart except Lynch. Just barely enough to platoon backs to bring in the plays. If somebody goes down ... somebody is losing a redshirt or a B-Back is moving over.

ACC may have a hard time filling bowl spots if the middle tier doesn't get their act together.

I'm sure GT will find some way to stumble into Shreveport at 6-6 and lay an egg there. That's the most GT thing imaginable that GT can do in the balance of the season.

I don't know that anyone considers Syracuse mid tier yet but I have seen many posts here that seem to expect a bowl this season. Assuming they don't come back from down 17-3 today, I struggle to project 3 more wins for the Orange. I'd expect them to be dogs for five straight games starting with their Pitt match-up. They'll need at least one upset plus wins vs UVA and BC which aren't sure things.

We all know that is not the case. The AAC is simply beating the bad ACC teams. You still cannot compare the two conferences as our top teams are so much better than theirs. They are much closer to C-USA/MAC than they are to the ACC

I'm not sure you want to follow that labeling system to its systemic end. You may find doing so uncomfortable.

UofL is NOT one of those top teams. Nor is Cuse, NCSU, Wake, BC, UNC, VT, Pitt, Miami, UVA.05-stirthepot
