UCF game
The UCF game is on Halloween. Does anybody happen to know what time this game will be, and any chance it would be earlier in the day? I couldn't find the time posted anywhere.

Hasn't been announced yet.

RE: UCF game
Television has until 10 days before the game to notify us of the game time for their broadcast scheduling purposes. So we will not likely know until closer to. Additionally, ESPN has one time per season they can give as little as 6 days notice.

Anything besides noon has terrible attendance written all over it but TV runs the world these days.

UCF game
I'm hoping for noon as well or I'll be out. Maybe an 8:00 game and I could get there a little late.

RE: UCF game
In my whole life, going back to days of youth before I knew UC existed, not one person I've known would pass up an OSU game to stay home for Halloween. UC games still way down the list of people's social agenda I guess.

RE: UCF game
I have two season tickets and take one of my three boys to every game. The oldest is 11 and none of them are willing to give up trick-or-treating for a UC game. I'm hoping for a noon start, too.

I'll be there regardless of the time. As bad as UCF is, I doubt it will be an evening game.

I'm more worried that if UC wins at BYU Rath will wuss out of his costume.

Why is Cincinnati trick or treating on a Saturday anyway?

Around here it is always on a Thursday night to make sure it doesn't interfere with a weekend.

With my kids trick or treating years finally behind me I can now say....

Tell your kids life is full disappointments , things take priorities and UC football is one of top ones. It's a good life lesson opportunity and when they get older will instill the same in their kids. 03-lol

It's funny you mention that because my wife and I had that discussion as well. I grew up outside of SWO and my recollection that is what they did where I lived as well. My wife grew up in NEO and indicated they never had Halloween on a weekend either.

I am a big UC mark as anyone but simply cannot be there if it interferes with taking the kids' out.

Kids could always trick or treat in the Grid before the game. Then polish off the candy during the game.

Years ago, my sister-in-law informed her younger child that the family WAS going to the UC game instead of them staying away to trick-or-treat. When the youngster complained about it, she said "if it's that important I'll buy you a bag of candy. We're going." Now that's a dedicated female Bearcat fan. 04-rock

It could be fun to have the kiddies go from tailgate to tailgate to trick-or-treat. Candy only for the kiddies though: no beer, burgers, or ribs. That's for the adult trick-or -treaters.

Great game day idea for UC. Let everyone know they are required to have candy at their tailgates and offer to have the kiddies dress up and trick or treat the tailgates on campus. Great idea. Could be fun. Plus, it knocks out the conundrum on whether to go to the game or stay home.

Plus, would be interesting to see all the little ones in costume at the game.

UC-USF several years ago was played on Halloween, and the game atmosphere was great. I think that was the game that Gilyard went into the stands after a catch and landed on a little boy.

Don't know why, but watched a quarter of UConn vs. UCF today. Wow, UCF is almost impossibly bad. That winless record is no fluke.

RE: UCF game
Didn't see the game... Has O'Leary lost the players? Does it look like the UCF players have simply packed it in for the season? I mean I know UCF is bad this year and UConn is improved, but looking at the score...dayum.
