As far as the NCAA expectations go, it's hard to expect a bid if we are a one bid league again.

That is probably our most talented lineup (unless you really wanted
To throw positions out the window and start Williams over Norton in that lineup).

However, I don't think that Lee is quite able to play the small forward position just yet. If He's fast enough to stay on smaller players defensively, and if he consistently knockdown the three pointers like he did last year, then it may work. Otherwise, spacing could be a big issues with two guys who operate almost exclusively in the paint - Mehinti and cokley. Also, who will sub in as a big man off the bench if Lee starts? If Lee can play like a mentioned above and ether Sullivan and/or Smallwood develop into our back up big man/spark plug, then that lineup may work very well.

I really do like the lineup like it is (maybe move baxter to the bench for Williams?). We have a very talented starting 5, and then hit the winded players on the other team with a wave of talented, well-balanced bench players. No rest for the weary sort of thing. Depth is a wonderful problem to have.

Like everyone else I will be disappointed if we don't get an NCAA bid, but I won't flip my wig, because we are really hindered by the weakness of our conference and other factors.. I certainly expect 20+ wins and NIT at the least. We should also win CUSA refular season.

Well for that lineup Dirk would be the sixth man and could sub for any guy playing 3-5, and play a Jacorie Tyler role of quick buckets off the bench (Had Haase kept him we wouldve had a winning season). Baxter could play a defensive role like Rob Williams, and I'm still undecided on him playing point. Watts keeps his backup point role, but I would like to see him attack and score instead of run an offense. Tyler could play the Rod Rucker role since he's a great rebounder who doesn't like to shoot.

I form this off of the mins averaged and points averaged.
Baxter was third in minutes and the fourth leading scorer. Norton was second in mins, and the fifth leading scorer with Tosin being the sixth leading scorer.

In a one bid league I wouldn't have high expectations.

Baxter is a really good defender though. Cokley and Nick are a weak combo at defense, and a heavy guard lineup could cause fits. Also, what's our big situation on the bench look like. We really don't know what we have in Sullivan or Smallwood at this point.

Some guys will progress more than others through the offseason. time will tell as always, but I assume we will roll out the same starting lineup for a while unless there is an injury.

IF NORTon start shooting the ball more I dont see him on bench except at the end of game when we got a big lead because of this scoring
