Just saw where our tennis facilities are ranked #9 in the nation by Tennis Magazine. Baylor is #1, A&M #5 and SMU #2.

Yeah, but what does that have to do with Bailiff?

The men should be pretty good this year. Tommy Bennett is back after being injured last season and there is that good new freshman whose name escapes me.. The only guy the men's team loses is Srikkar (sp?)... The women lose Beazant, which is huge.

The team picked up some wins over ranked doubles teams today.

They also have it listed as the Georgia R. Brown Tennis Center. Must be George's sister.

Great, we have a national class tennis facility!

We also have a national class aquatics facility that we use for only one gender on an intercollegiate level (women's swimming) not leveraging it to offer sports that our Ivy and west coast private near peers (Stanford and University of Spoiled Children (USC)) offer. Harvard (40 varsity sports), Rice (16 the minimum for D1). Bettering our D1 public neighbor (dUH) is not a challenge, becoming relevant on a national stage is! Low hanging fruit with our existing facilities are Varsity Swimming and Diving (M&W) Varsity Water Polo (M&W) and Varsity Synchonized Swimming (W).

Synchronized swimming is a sport at the NCAA level? But there should be male swimming offered there too - JJ Watt is into it, and I still recall the classic SNL skit with Harry Shearer and Martin Short.

And I do agree that we're missing out on not reinstating men's swimming.

Is this something Greenspan did well? Or does JK, Tanner and Co get the credit just cuz? Sorry for asking a question to the board rather than just hating on Bailiff.
