Red wings
I don't know about the rest of you, but I am more excited about the wings this season than I have been in a few years. It seems we finally have a mix of young players with talent and some experience. I think blashill will bring energy and respect, not that Babcock didn't, but blashill is fresh.
This is a team loaded with players who are real good, but without star names, with the exception of the old guys like datsuk and zetterberg (excuse spelling). Our old Bronco blueliner needs to get healed and back on the ice soon. He is a critical piece. But overall I like this team, and like also that they may fly under the radar for a while.

Im with ya.....There is s ton of skill and speed on this team the youngsters looked sharp in the preseason with crisp passing and good puck control. They have been brought up on puck control and do it well. They also have went to war with Blashill and won the Calder cup and went deep into the playoffs several times including this past year. If I didn't know better I might pick this group to be a sleeper for the Stanley Cup!!!!Go Wings

RE: Red wings
I'm with both of you. I really like what the team was able to do during the offseason. I loved Babs but he had run his course with the Wings, it was time for some new life. I have us reaching the Eastern finals before bowing out to the Penguins. I'm excited to get the season started!

Ya, just a good chemistry feel. May be totally wrong too, lol. The NHL playoffs are always a crap shoot, but the wings should be there with a chance to make a run. Need the starts to align.
