20 Points
Only 20 points separate us from an undefeated season. Let's just look back at our season so far and be happy that we have a really good team.

Lost to the National Champs and #1 team by a Touchdown. If not for the interception, we would have been TIED and going into OT with them.

Lost to BC by a FG. That missed FG cost us a chance to be TIED and going to OT with BC.

The fumbles in our territory and the missed opportunity to score on 4th and 1 are what separates us from being 5-0 and not 2-3.

Think about it. 20 points over 3 games. Our defense has played their balls off this year. If we didn't put them in a bad position against CMU, we should have won.

I was there for the bad years, but not the bleak years (Saddler). Back then, we would never have dreamed of being one possession of tying the #1 team in the country. That is how far we have come.

I had to take a break from the negativity on this board. If we can right our ship, we can still go 9-3, 10-3 or 11-3 this year.

Don't bail on this team now. They can and WILL surprise you.

Cheer up and cheer on the Huskies, those NIU Huskies, with Victory in view, come on you Huskies, you Northern Huskies, and WIN for NIU!!!

On the other side of the coin, only 8 points separate us from being 1-4.
