RE: App @ GA St.
I took my family to the Aquarium a few years ago and stayed and the Embassy Suites across the Olympic Park. I got approached 4 different times by bums asking for money. When I tried to change direction to avoid them, they stalked me down. One guy followed me into Subway. I ended up getting him a 6 inch sub just to leave me alone. Then one of the previous bums approached me as I was leaving and was mad because I got the other guy something and not him. This was during the daytime. Needless to say, I did not leave the hotel room after dark. There are bums in Charlotte, but not nearly as aggressive as the ones in Atlanta.

No, I would rather not be mugged.
Carry a fake cell phone and a spare empty wallet.
Just come on down to our tailgate at the Yellow Lot. Two of us have carry permits...it is GA after all.
We never have had an issue in the blue or brown(RIP) lot.

Who said anything about it being healthy?
Someone said "healthy dose" .
It's funny because it's not true.
TIC
I used "healthy dose" in terms of a lot or excess, not as beneficial health wise.
Yeah, I know.
Jeez are all crAPP fans this dry?
No, just like not all Stink fans are......... fill in the blank

Is State's stud LB playing? I remember seeing him go down last weekend, but I can't remember him coming back to the game.

LOL, it becomes background noise after a while. You seemed to have learned that no matter what your heart says, don't feed the alligators!
I have walked across Charlotte at night (all the way across Uptown, which is cool that you can still do that) and not only did I not see a vagrant, I didn't see anyone. Outside of Epicenter that place is dead after dark.

Man what are you talking anbout. That's some fine Southern cuisine!
The orange drink is good. The food is what it is. It is the chilli that gets me I think the other stuff is good.
There is no shortage of amazing places to get anything you want to eat in ATL though. If you eat at a chain you are an idiot.

Big events are safe, also GaSt games are pretty safe as well from what I hear.

Time and place. When I used to occasionally do appraisals in the rougher areas of ATL I could tell you some crazy stories. Needless to say I mastered the three point turn. But yes for this a little weak.

I have a no eye contact policy when it comes to pan-handlers. The bums in Ashville are very pushy as well. I had to berate a guy once for not taking no for an answer.

Just stay out of 30318 unless you own a tank.

Pffft...
I spent a good bit of my life in that area. But yeah... a tank would help.
I'm positive I'm among a select few that has actually herded goats in that area. The ultimate weapon against kudzu.

Even that won't help you according to season 1 of TWD.

You're not speaking their language. Next time you're approached, start shaking your head and say "Nah, man, I got child support due next week. Three kids, man." And keep walking. I guarantee they will say, "Ah, man, I understand." And they'll go find another target. It never fails.

I've never had an issue or regret after eating there. My cardiologist probably wouldn't be too happy about it. If it's as bad as all the horror stories say it is the place would ave been out of business years ago.
Way back in the stone age, when I worked in radio, a stop at the Varsity for those onion rings before I went on the air always resulted in my voice sounding its very best. Must have greased the pipes real well!

That dude in Asheville responded "there's an ATM over there" when I don't him I don't carry cash. I told him the restaurant next to the ATM probably has job applications. Now I don't even glance at them. If they solicit me I just say "nah" and give them an angry look. So far so good.

I worked off of Fulton Ind Blvd right out of the Army. Talk about crackhead central. You did not stop at any of those gas stations.
