How is it not? By the report above, UConn has appeared or is scheduled to appear three times on ESPNU and twice on CBSSN.

I know that my friends have been able to see all UC games from their California home. While I think they saw the first game against Alabama A&M while viewing on Fox Sports Ohio, I'm pretty sure that game was also available on ESPN3, which is now carried by a number of providers.

As noted, these are NATIONAL broadcasts only, not regional. Hence the reason UConn's SNY broadcast is not listed either.

It's only AAC controled games so UConn's games against Mizzou and BYU also would not be included.

Legit comparisons (national or otherwise) would be AAC year over year.

Memphis has beaten every ESPN Thursday and ESPN2 Friday A
AC rating thus far.

Given the 4 channels Memphis is on this year, I could see a 1.5M average viewership per game for those 4 games for Memphis. A big increase over last year. Of course, a major improvement in the channels we are on will do that.

You mean the USF@FSU, which falls under the ACC contract and not the American contract..........

The list is correct.

I think the most surprising thing is the lack of Houston coverage

I don't find it that surprising so far. Our first 3 conference games are against the small private schools. We played 2 bad OOC games and then played @ Louisville who is in the ACC package and there were better games in that conference that day.

I now understand why some are included and some aren't however I suppose that I'm not smart enough to understand the value of the information then.

It shows 1) who the conference and TV partners seem to value within the league 2) it shows where and how our ESPN deal is distributed and with what teams

It's even more interesting to see the smallest market school have the most appearances and the largest market school have the least. 07-coffee3

Keep in mind, most of the ESPN/2/U games were set b/f the season started (T/F games) when the east was projected to be better. As conference plays gets under way, that could change...thinking those AAC contract Navy games will get good platforms.

There are no AAC contract Navy games other than when Navy is playing somewhere else in the conference.

Still under their own CBS contract.

That's exactly what I meant...AAC contract controlled. Those @Memphis and @Houston games should get good placement.
