Deez

Thanks for the info.

West Campus Dining Hall just isn't going to cut it, it will always be D Hall.

They can try to call it what they want but it’ll always be Dhall. New students need to be trained on this fact.

I'm thinking they'll have DHall (or West Campus Dining hall, as Dining Services is trying to call it) completed from the outside by Commencement weekend, with the fences down and landscaping done, and have some interior finishes to complete throughout the summer.

Seems likely, and you know landscaping services will have that thing looking gooooood! It is and will always be DHALL!

To me it will always be D-Hall, and it will always be Cantrell.

More sidewalks have been poured and it looks like some lighting cable work is going on.

Looks like they got some conduit laid and buried for lighting wiring in front of and on either side of the steps area. You can see the bases for the lights if you look closely enough. Looking forward to spring and hopefully some landscaping and the fences coming down!!

I wonder if you'll be able to see the field inside BFS from the second floor dining area? Depending on the location of windows it looks like it may be possible because you can already see the Jumbotron.

Doubtful. From the field you can only see the roof of DHall so I don't expect it to be visible the other way around. Doesn't quite have the elevation. The video board is visible though.

Looks like some grading and lawn type work has been done to the left of the stairs. Also some grading and smoothing of the area around the stairs. Wondering if the brick we see in the foreground before the construction fence will be extended to the stairs?

Beautiful looking day in the Valley. Where is Quad Cam when you need it?

Looks like some more concrete sidewalk was poured and some more landscaping work started. Can not wait until the fences come down and we can see what the whole thing looks like!!

https://app.oxblue.com/open/skanska/JMUDining time for a bump. Looks like a pretty day, along w/ some pretty decent progress there too. Will be up there in a few weeks, as my daughter will be inducted into Phi Kappa Phi & Phi Beta Kappa honors societies. Proud JMU grad & dad!

Wow. Looks like the exterior is almost done. Already straw down for grass.

Any word on when the clock tower cap is going on?

What do you mean by cap?

This is from the JMU construction website, doesn't look like it will have any structure above it.
