RE: Either/OR? Or is it Both/AND? Adam/Eve and Human Evolution
Except you continue to use agnostic and atheist as if they are mutually exclusive, when they clearly are not. You can be an agnostic atheist, for instance.

He admitted to it being an opinion rather than fact, let's move on.

Move on to what? Arguing which biblical prophecy is right and which is wrong? I want to make sure he understands this, because unlike most of what has been discussed in this thread, it might actually affect other people.

Indeed, multiple times now.
Some people just can't move on.

These verses illustrate that the Day of the Lord is Judgment against all mankind and the return of Christ.
According to the Bible.
I'm not sure what citing the Bible proves, other than that the Bible indeed says what it does.
lol
Hello McFly, that is exactly what he was arguing......what the bible says.

Even the Christ story itself doesn't really hold up, unless of course you'd believe your daughter if she got knocked up and claimed it was god that did it.
I always find these particular arguments interesting.
Its one thing if you flat out, 100% don't believe in a Creator, that makes some sense.
But if there is possibly a God who created the entire universe, a virgin birth or flooding the earth is small potato's to Him.
Just depends on what you choose to believe.
You don't have to wholly discount the possibility that there is a deity to understand the simple math and evidence which shows that the biblical flood did not take place or that living in the belly of a whale for 3 days isn't possible. The idea that those are possibilities simply because you think a god is a possibility is just as interesting to me.

I also think we were all ready to be tucked in at that point too....but the preaching had to continue.....

Indeed it might, which is why I am here allowing all of you to troll me incessantly.
I'm getting the Word out and showing how hated Christians are simply for being Christians.

I apologize if I've missed it, but have you stated you understand that agnosticism and atheism are not mutually exclusive beliefs? If so, we can truly be done here.

Two birds with one stone.
I don't think you know what hatred is, or how to spot it, if you think that's what is being expressed.

You don't have to be a Christian either to understand that the entire universe just popping into existence from complete nothingness isn't possible either.
The day that Science can prove there is no god and that he did not create the universe will be the day you have the truth to stand on.
Until then, you are going on just as much faith as I am. You can't prove a single theory you have on the origin of the universe.

How many times do we have to go over this... there is no way to prove a negative. We can't disprove ANY deity at this point.
That's beside the point though, "You can't disprove god" isn't an argument that the universe was created by your god. It really isn't an argument for anything.

No one is claiming there is scientific proof of God.
If you don't want to believe in God then don't.

Nobody in this thread is arguing that there is, unless I missed something.
