Another week of high profile games for the conference
The biggest win would be Navy over the Irish. That would be huge for the AAC.
ECU over BYU would mark 2 wins by the AAC over a team that got a lot of national preseason hype.
SMU v Houston gives the Cougs a national Thurs night audience to show why they are undefeated.
USF can chalk up another win over a P5 school with a win over Syracuse.
With apologies to SMU, if we were to go 4-0 in these games, you will first hear the phrase "Power 6."
If all of this happens and Memphis beats Old Miss next week...............

RE: Another week of high profile games for the conference
I remember being super pissed in 2011 (I think?) when Southern Miss blew UH up in the CUSA champ game to cost the conference a BCS bowl. I couldn't believe why Southern Miss would be pumped about that.
Now I get it. I know it would suck for the conference as a whole for Temple to lose to Tulane, but I'll be at the Linc in my Green Wave jersey. Would be a huge win for us-- would be a turning point towards bowl eligibility just like our win over ECU in 2013.
This Tulane team is good and has talent. They have just playinging way too emotionally and without confidence. Any hint of a possible loss and they just collapse (I know Duke and GT look like bad losses, but the score is entirely misleading. Look at the play by play for the first half in both. Neither game is out of reach until an unforced error leads to a score and then the team just gives up.) But on the other hand, once they feel like they are going to win they pour it on. Hopefully the Maine and UCF game leads to more of the latter.
The entire Tulane / Temple game will come down to who gets the momentum first. Both teams are predicated on defense, turnovers, and protecting the ball on offense while waiting for a homerun play.

It's true while I wish Houston would have won and gotten the BCS bid, nothing should ever be given. They didn't earn it and that's that. Hopefully this year the conference has a team that can weather all the punches and wind up in a ny6 bowl.

I don't want any of you to ruin Temple for ECU. I want them undefeated coming into the Fick.

It is difficult to win when playing against S. Miss. and A&M.
