we passed for over 300 against Temple. I don't think actually passing the ball will be difficult, getting it into the endzone will be though. 1 offensive touchdown in the last 3 games. Embarrassing.

We had less than 150 passing versus Temple, unless you count the 77 yard interception return as passing.

You're right, I meant 300 total yards.

So Niners, I haven't been following you guys the past couple weeks other than checking the scores but I thought you guys were OK offensively but the defense was lacking. Did you guys have some injuries, better competition or am I just mistaken?

Total flip flop. Last year we scored 22 touchdowns in 3:00 or less. This year we've score 10 offensive points in the last ten quarters. We have been missing a few OL's to injury and our home run receiver has been slowed by a leg injury.
Last year, we gave up yards and points in chunks. This year, it's been a little tougher to move and score on us.

Our qb situation.
Last years starter threw two picks and had two fumbles in Atlanta.
Against Presby the freshman started and we played a platoon with last years starter
Against middle, the freshman was terrible and ended up getting stitches over an eye so he was inactive against FAU. Last years starter came in and was terrible.
Against FAU, we started third stringer (who threw four picks and was generally awful) platooned with last years starter who threw two picks in three throws and got concussed and was inactive against Temple.
Against Temple, we went with third stringer. He was awful, but did hit a few short ones early to get the fan base pumped, but in the end he was awful. (He's completed about 35% of his passes with tons of picks and sacks taken).

We really have no good option, but third stringer is third stringer for a reason. He has no poise, throws a fast ball like Charlie Hough, and has no accuracy throwing deep.

As rough as odu's offense has been (and I didn't see the app game), I can't imagine it's worse than ours.

I quickly learned that inexperienced QBs against almost any FBS is more challenging than 90% of FCS. Although ODU has a few years on Charlotte our luck having Heinicke overshadowed how tough it's probably going to be and we're probably more closely matched than most ODU fans will admit.

Too true. Heinicke could put the team on his back, he once had more passing yards in one game than Bentleys had in the first 5 games. Now that was a record breaking game and all the blame for our offensive woes don't fall on Bemtleys shoulders. But yeah we've been spoiled.

Beginning of the season this game was pegged as a win, NCST game I thought this might be our last win, now Im thinking we could lose this game. I like the team we have now, I think the talents there they've just got to meld. It's happening on defense but not being able to move the balls depressing. For the fans and the team I think.

I think (hope) our OLine holds a little better than the past 3 games and Lawry breaks loose some. He's certainly been a bright spot and a beacon of hope for this team.

But, he did only throw 1 interception against Temple. That was a big improvement.

Sure. It's a large, pointy, stabby tiara.

Kinda looks like a chef's hat.

No where near as awe inspiring as this graphics tour-de-force. Please tell me a student made this and that you didn't pay a design firm good money to design five balloons and a dot.

It sorta reminds me of the Master Control Program from Tron or Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy.

As bad as the logo you present is, we really have no business talking smack on the basis of logo design.
