UAB will have several prospects on hand for its Hoops on the Haasephalt Thursday night, set for 7 p.m. at the UAB Campus Green. Nate Darling, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Hyattsville, Md., but born in Canada, is expected to be on hand for an official visit.


Javien Williams, a guard from Woodlawn who is UAB's lone commit so far for this class, will be there. Others include Pelham 2017 four-star forward Alex Reese, 2017 Hale County combo guard Herb Jones, who played last season at Sunshine before the school closed its doors, 2017 Auburn forward Garrison Brooks and Atlanta, Ga., 2017 point guard Collin Sexton.
