Doesn't matter. The way the year is shaking up, a 13-0 AAC champ will be in the discussion.
Just gotta keep winning.
ACC: Clemson looking awfully good to go 13-0
B12: very well might have 'a true champion' go 12-0
B10: East Champ has a shot (MichSt or OhioSt)
Pac12: You believe in Cal or Utah? Me neither...
SEC: Already a lot of damage, would a 2 loss champ get in?
Boise: 1 loss already
BYU: 2 losses
Notre Dame: one loss already and still has some games that are tough
Toledo: MAC is good, and they would have to 13-0.
Why NOT the AAC champ at 13-0, who ever it is?
I'm not saying it's likely, or even 100% possible, but there are scenarios where the AAC champ gets in if they run the table... We just need our own 'one true champion' (unlikely, we're all too good and will almost certainly beat each other up) and a full collapse of the Pac12 and SEC (and frankly, that is actually possible this year).
Why not?
