Forde's Fab Four
Pat Forde's projection of the CFP bracket this week has Temple and Houston in the "also considered" section, along with Ohio State, Texas A&M, Clemson, Michigan State, etc. It's definitely not a scientific column he writes (he has Northwestern at #2), but he's projecting only the top 4 teams, not all major bowls as a whole. So, some more legit respect for the AAC!

Dropped out: Mississippi, UCLA, LSU.
Also considered: Oklahoma, TCU, Clemson, Ohio State, Michigan State, Texas A&M, Florida State, California, Stanford, Iowa, Temple, Houston.

I'm not sure why Temple and Houston get considered and not Memphis (or Navy for that matter) other than Forde's perpetual hard on for Louisville.

Great for the conference to simply be listed with that group.

Yeah we do need to win that game. Hopefully all of our games.

Houston without Ward doesn't scare me.

Unfortunately, Houston has Ward. So, yeah that game will be scary lol.

Doesn't matter. The way the year is shaking up, a 13-0 AAC champ will be in the discussion.

Just gotta keep winning.

ACC: Clemson looking awfully good to go 13-0
B12: very well might have 'a true champion' go 12-0
B10: East Champ has a shot (MichSt or OhioSt)
Pac12: You believe in Cal or Utah? Me neither...
SEC: Already a lot of damage, would a 2 loss champ get in?
Boise: 1 loss already
BYU: 2 losses
Notre Dame: one loss already and still has some games that are tough
Toledo: MAC is good, and they would have to 13-0.

Why NOT the AAC champ at 13-0, who ever it is?

I'm not saying it's likely, or even 100% possible, but there are scenarios where the AAC champ gets in if they run the table... We just need our own 'one true champion' (unlikely, we're all too good and will almost certainly beat each other up) and a full collapse of the Pac12 and SEC (and frankly, that is actually possible this year).

Why not?

He is ridiculous... Teams stop the pass, it's all good. He'll just run for 250 yards and 4 TD's. Teams stick 7-8 in the box it's cool cause he'll throw for 250-300 yards and a couple TD's to make you adjust and then run for 200 yards and a couple more TD's.

Then Houston's defense has his back by forcing at least 2-3 turnovers a game in case he throws a pick or 2 lol.

There is a reason Houston instantly got better when he took over.

You guys are about due. I remember when Deangelo ran for about 300 on us. I believe you started a WR at QB that night.

Should be a great game. Our coaching staff is a huge step up, so I think we will be ready. Heres04-cheers to both teams being undefeated going into that one.

I'll be contact the University of Houston before that game. I heard a rumor that Ward used a corked bat in a high school baseball game once. Whether it turns out to be true or not, it might be best for him to sit at least the Memphis game until it gets be verified.

*Might just work*...
