He said that because its true (i.e. UCF has plenty of season tix holders and boosters that went to other schools...heck, couple I tailgate with, Husband went to Wisconsin and Wife went to UF...but they have been UCF season tix holders for 10 plus years (go to a lot of road games, including South Carolina, Fiesta Bowl et al).

Most people that live in Orlando were not born here and many moved to Orlando after they went to school and some of them (heck, even the name sake of ECU's own stadium, Dowdy, donated $1 Million to UCF's Football Stadium) are some of the biggest boosters/supporters of UCF.

Those that live in much older/traditional areas may not understand the make-up of those that live in Orlando and what some of their interests are all about.

Orlando may be the most transient metro-area in the country this side of Vegas.
