There is a really good documents on Netflix about it.
I was in E.G. not long after it happened. The weakness of just about every sub-saharan country really shines through in their inability to deal with these types of situations. In E.G., or Gabon for that matter, there just isn't any answer to this sort of attack. The police are useless for the most part, and most nations' leaders don't trust a military enough to train or equip them or they simply can't afford it.
BTW, I use those two examples because of having been there and the fact that one is the wealthiest sub-saharan country and the other is the single most stable one. Both would be powerless.

It changes everything. It's the same reason the Wests actions in the Middle East are partially to blame for the rise of terror groups. Actions of war and even mission trips have consequences. Imagine if you were bombed or under constant threat of attack from the ME. They told you it was because they were trying to protect you from Obama. Yet all you saw were a few Obama loyalists being killed but a lot of innocent civilians too. You would hate the ME for doing that even if you hated Obama's takeover too. Same goes for if you are a Christian and Muslims came to your house and tried to convert you. You would tell them to gtfo.

Funny I've had a lot of Mormons at my door yet never once wsa I tempted to go shoot up a mall.

Except these Muslims told Christians, women, children and other innocent of any involvement with Kenyan military operations to gtfo with AK-47s and grenades. But whatevs, consequences, chickens, roosting etc.....
The Left is delusional on the topic of Islamic terrorism and the Left has no theoretical apparatus for dealing with Islamic terrorism. Islamic terrorism does not fit into their way of looking at the world. It is not supposed to exist.
