All you need to know is that they just lost to Elon..... ELON.

By the same token you could say all you need to know is they played ECU tougher than VT, and beat a team that beat Albany far worse than JMU did...

RE: JMU @ Towson predictions
Previous 2 CAA games I wasn't the closest prediction, but was one of the closest on both.
Albany had 41-21, final was 42-28
SBU had 38-21, final was 38-20

Going with JMU 38, TU 24

That didn't help. Now I'm back to worrying.

RE: JMU @ Towson predictions
Yeah, but well all know our Albany score isn't indicative of how much JMU overmatched them. We turned the ball over SIX TIMES!!. You're not supposed to win those games, let alone win with 42 points. The turnovers is what kept it from being a 60 point game with second-stringers in the 4th.

Yes, I know turnovers are part of the game, but if we're being honest, we straight-up dominated Albany.

Bad penalty calls gave Albany unnecessary life too. Both the Albany and stony brook games were more dominant than the final score indicated.
Last week against SB, our defense got lazy and gave up two TDs in the final quarter and a half. We can't let up our effort just because we lead by 4-5 TDs.

For those that don't get it on TV (like me - a chord cutter in TN), you can watch on CAA.TV. Test your connection on the WM/'Nova game...which looks fairly well attended...by the player's families.

I like this prediction. This game should be a blow out. If it's not, it's because we had another Albany type game (i.e. multiple turnovers and dumb mistakes but still win by double digits).

Towson 21
JMU 49
