A truly awful conference. Only the Sun Belt is worse this year.

So we can go to a bowl game this year by beating only teams in the bottom 28 plus a bad FCS team. That will give us a 7-5 record.

Based on the current rankings, all of those teams are in the bottom 20.

I would like for a "down year" to remain above the "low water" line of a double digit ranking (top 99).
There's still plenty of time and talent for this year's team to do that (and if we do go 7-5 probably would nudge up that high).

La Tech and USM are still on the schedule too so we can climb higher still...
