nobody has brought this up yet. So far we have played a pretty decent schedule and only a max of 38 points Has been given up and that was to Both Indiana and La Tech which is they're avg score. Then held Rice to a season low 10 points at Rice and that includes them playing 2 big 12 schools. Also note that we held Vandy to its season low at Vandy and that includes Vandy playing 2 SEC games. WKU did not get the luxury of playing a FCS team this year, but yet we are holding our opponents to under 25 points a game (22.4 to be exact). Most all WKU fans said we just needed to be 10-14 points better and so far we are exceeding that. Everybody said you must have a defense to win a championship ...... Have we improved enough given the offense we have?

You guys should win the conference this year. The only reason you won't is if the pressure gets to be too much on the players, or if you defense has a brain fart and gives up 67 points.

Time will tell but being Number 1 in the nation in Turnover margin certainly helps us..

Turnover margin is the song of the season so far. Gotta keep that up.

The stars have aligned for WKU, just as they did for Marshall last season. A great offense, an improved defense, and no truly elite teams in conference to deal with. WKU should cruise to a title, but then again, we should have cruised to an undefeated season last year too. That final game this year is gonna be a wild ride as this younger herd team gels more and more.
