2:30 CBS LSU/Florida maybe Bama/A&M but Bama has already been on CBS once

That should leave all the night games

Arkansas and UT have byes and I think Auburn and Kentucky play that Thursday

cbs does not have rights to 230ct slot, abc has that slot.

The SEC doesn't have CBS anymore?

this is an AAC game, therefore it has to be turned down by ALL of the American's TV partners before CBS would have a shot at it...

I never said it would be a CBS game. In fact I said that we would more than likely be a night game on one of the 4 letter networks family

ESPN2 - 500 or 530pm slot, not quite prime time.

I will admit, one thing I suck at is understanding TV windows / placing.

Having said that, a 'highlighted', but not 'major' game in the late afternoon sounds right. I'll roll with squid's 6p mirror idea...

Would love a ABC or CBS tv audience. But, considering Ole Miss is no longer undefeated, we will probably only get ESPN2 at best.

RE: Guess the TV slot for the Ole Miss game
If it's an evening kickoff (7 pm eastern) my guess it'll more than likely be ESPNU, ESPN News, or CBS SPorts Network. CBS Sports Network's slots for the noon eastern and 3:30 eastern time slots are already filled. My hunch this is where the game will end up.

A noon eastern or 3:30 eastern kickoff would more than likely put it on ESPN2, ESPNU, or ESPN News. Not sure with Ole Miss having a loss it would get picked for the noon or 3:30 eastern ABC time slot.

Nevertheless, here are the games that week (ESPN Family can choose from) which could affect the time and network of the Ole Miss game.

Michigan St at Michigan-----ABC Prime Time more than likely to go head on with the USC at Notre Dame prime time game on NBC
Iowa at Northwestern
Florida at LSU----------------CBS or ESPN Prime Time
Alabama at Texas A&M------CBS or ESPN Prime Time
Missouri at Georgia
Vanderbilt at South Carolina
Louisiana Tech at Mississippi St
Louisville at Florida St.
Virginia Tech at Miami (FL)
Boston College at Clemson
Pittsburgh at Georgia Tech
Wake Forest at North Carolina
Syracuse at Virginia

This game has never been played at night. First time for everything I guess, but I wouldn't count on it.

Neither team is in the Eastern Time Zone so that helps as far as not being the early game.

I am going to say 6:30 or so.

RE: Guess the TV slot for the Ole Miss game
I've felt this was an ABC game from the beginning. The AAC contract calls for three games per year. VT/ECU got one of those slots. Temple has ND at home later on, but I'm not sure what else is left for marquee OOC AAC home games.

Matt Sarzyniak thinks it'll get the afternoon reverse mirror.
Quote:While Ole Miss did lose, I expect the game vs. Memphis to get a decent telecast slot. Felt that a reverse mirror with a Big 12 game was warranted
