Can Toledo keeps on a winning trajectory, because one loss I'm afraid it's Access Bowl hopes will be shot down.

Beyond winning out themselves Toledo fans need to root for Ohio to win out too because defeating an 11-1(8-0) Ohio in Detroit will help the Rockets earn the Access Bowl bid more than beating a 9-3(7-1) BGSU that they already beat in the regular season. And I'm sure Rocket fans would like their chances against an Ohio program they've had success against in the past.

What would be interesting to see in that scenario is if Ohio was able to beat Toledo in the MACC and finish 12-1 how would a 12-1 Ohio and 11-1 Toledo finish in the rankings.

Disclaimer- this is obviously all just wild speculation and should not be interpreted as my expectation of what will actually happen. There's still a TON of football still to be played.

I'll Take that scenario. Assuming UT beats BGSUcks in November, wouldn't want a rematch indoors in Detroit in December.

Seems like we put up 700+ against NIU one year and a reserve RB named ? Gorden Warner ? or something scored a slew of TDs. I thought those were insane numbers but BG is reaching or nearly reaching them weekly. Could be a classic matchup of D vs O come November.

Toledo us up to 19 in the AP Poll, 20 in the Coaches.

Of all the close, close losses the MAC has had in non-conference play, BG's close loss to Memphis will probably be the most painful as this year goes on. Pulling that one off would've really bumped them up in the rankings and keep U of M from competing for the G5 spot.
