RE: Tubbs reppin' the 'Cats in SEC country this weekend
Tubs did watch UC O-Line commit Sean Bailey play Friday so he did do some recruiting as well. I have absolutely no problem with this but after his son graduates I don't think this would be appropriate.

The only reason he is there is because his son plays there! I'd like to assume that you are smarter than to think Coach would be hanging out at other schools during the season for any reason other than his son plays. Nobody would be saying anything here if his son played at almost any other school in the country.

It is not out of the question that the whole staff may visit other schools in the off season to pick up coaching tips that can be used in our preparation for the season.

I know it's a different situation, but out of curiosity, do you wear UC, neutral or Alabama gear when you've gone to games in Tuscaloosa this year.

Rath is not THE FACE of UC football. My point is simply that those pictures specifically made TT look like some average joe looking wistfully at the Auburn football team. Not a good look in my opinion for the head football coach of a program that is already constantly begging to be taken seriously.

Rath is, however, agent provocateur for the bourgeois class (at least, that’s what he said to Dossbig once), which is at least as important.

I actually kind of find it hilarious. I think we should plant Tubs dressed up in UC gear in the crowd on college game day every week we have a Thursday or Friday game.

Of course one could look at it from the perspective that despite having his father coach at UC, Tucker Tuberville decided to high-tail it down to Auburn after seeing what Cincy was like.

Meh, Tucker Tuberville was going to be a clipboard holder whether he was at Cincinnati or at Auburn. It is hard to fault a kid for wanting to learn offensive strategy under the tutelage of Gus Malzahn.

I like to think that I add a smidgeon of poor redneck spice to the upper crust vichyysoise.

Add what Sub said about him wanting to Coach and doing it on his own and I think you're spot on Clifton.

I guess I was looking at it from the perspective of being able to work along side your own father.

Totally agree. I saw Tucker in the UC spring game a couple of years ago (the one at Sheakley where they did drills prior to having a scrimmage). I'll put it nicely and say he doesn't quite have the skills to play QB at this level.

Also add in he has a number of childhood friends attending Auburn as well.

This is the big one. During that golf outing he said he considers Auburn his home since that is where he spent most of his childhood.
