Unless Rice wakes up, they could struggle against UTSA and UTEP.

RE: Bowl Eligibility
So I am just saying this but what if USC goes 6-6 and the Big12 can't fill their HOD slot, how many CUSA fans would watch just to see a CUSA team take on a USC Train wreck in Dallas??

I would not mind taken a shot at usc. And I would slap coach Brohm if he let his foot off the gas ....... I want to save a drill somebody to the wall game for the bowl game

Hoping the lightning delay in the fourth quarter of the FAU game was the wake-up call.

I expect UTSA to play us as hard as they played Louisiana Tech. But I don't see UTEP as much of a problem. I do think we get to bowl eligibility with Wagner, North Texas, FAU, Army, UTEP and Charlotte. Probably not a 5-game winner in that group.

David Bailiff's job performance rating rests on UTSA, Southern Mississippi and Louisiana Tech. He can still win the West, and get some redemption by playing WKU closer in the championship game. Or, it could go south.

Didn't TCU's rise to prominence get a jumpstart by playing a Southern Cal train wreck in the Sun Bowl?

RE: Bowl Eligibility
LA Tech should go to the HOD Bowl again. It is rarely mentioned that the Bulldogs traveled over 20K fans to Dallas for last year's showdown with Illinois. I suspect it will be difficult for any CUSA team --WKU included-- to travel that well to Dallas. I'll bet the HOD like's Tech too.
