That Navy/ND game looks very interesting considering how Clemson beat ND down....

SMU @ Houston ESPN2
MY LINE: Houston 45- 20I can buy a trap game for Houston, I can buy SMU has been able to score to keep up so to speak, but with the "trend" for SMU and the "trend" for Houston, I can't see SMU winning this.

Saturday 10/10
Tulane @ Temple ESPNN
MY LINE: Temple 26-20I am buying the hype for ONE game on Tulane and saying that the big offensive explosion they had against UCF last week gives them the confidence to make this a closer game than it should otherwise be. Temple's "too close" win over UMass haunts my thoughts as well.

Syracuse @ USF
MY LINE: USF 24-20 Going for a close game and relatively low scoring. I think home field gives USF the difference in the game.

Navy @ #__ Notre Dame NBC
MY LINE: Navy 26-23Notre Dame has yet to have a real offensive explosion other than a garbage UMass team. Navy has been real stingy on defense so far this season. I think Navy can get this done in a very tight game. Of note, my conscience won't let pick ND.

UConn @ UCF ESPNU
MY LINE: UConn 27-23UConn has been showing heart of late and UCF has not. I am teased by thinking UCF rebounds from the ownage Tulane gave them but with what I have seen out of UCF so far I am "IN" for thinking the Huskies can snag this one.

ULM @ Tulsa ESPN3
MY LINE: Tulsa 35-18ULM is horrible and Tulsa should get this easily.

ECU @ BYU ESPNU
MY LINE: ECU 31-24BYU got over on UConn late... ECU has been heating up with Summers coming in off the bench. They key for ECU to get this will be handling the thin air with their conditioning and NOT making mistakes. I am not 100% sold on BYU being able to beat us so I am taking ECU.

Hope all the winners make Grown Man Plays.

REALITY SAID: Houston 49-28 SMU was game for a little bit then Houston pulls it out.
1-0

REALITY SAID: Temple 49-10 Tulane has gone into the dumpster...I don't get it.
2-0

Syracuse @ USF
MY LINE: USF 24-20 Going for a close game and relatively low scoring. I think home field gives USF the difference in the game.
REALITY SAID: USF 45-24 I can't believe USF put up 45 but its a nice win against a P5 conference.
3-0

Navy @ #__ Notre Dame NBC

REALITY SAID: ND 41-24 Navy was game for a half and then the Irish finish it out strong.
3-1

UConn @ UCF ESPNU
MY LINE: UConn 27-23UConn has been showing heart of late and UCF has not. I am teased by thinking UCF rebounds from the ownage Tulane gave them but with what I have seen out of UCF so far I am "IN" for thinking the Huskies can snag this one.
REALITY SAID: UConn 40-13 What has happened with UCF?
4-1

ULM @ Tulsa ESPN3
MY LINE: Tulsa 35-18ULM is horrible and Tulsa should get this easily.
REALITY SAID: Tulsa 34-24 Tulsa pulled this one out.
5-1

ECU @ BYU ESPNU
MY LINE: ECU 31-24BYU got over on UConn late... ECU has been heating up with Summers coming in off the bench. They key for ECU to get this will be handling the thin air with their conditioning and NOT making mistakes. I am not 100% sold on BYU being able to beat us so I am taking ECU.
REALITY SAID: BYU 45-38 Cray game...two blocked punts leading directly to TDs. How the BYU qb had his 4th quarter come back.... Kemp balled out for the team though...
5-2

Hope all the winners make Grown Man Plays.

A lot of highs and lows from this week....
