I realize the season is early. But who would have expected anything like this when the season started?

Illinois just beat Nebraska.
Ohio State needed a comeback to beat Indiana.
Michigan State just barely got past 1-4 Purdue.
Iowa downs Wisconsin.
State Penn barely downs Army.
Michigan rolls over Maryland, but everybody in the B1G will probably do that.
Northwestern looks like the class of the conference right now, after their dominating win over Minnesota.

Why can't West Virginia beat Oklahoma?

I'm not a Big10 fan, but they looked weak last year and they ended up with the champion. A close win is still a close win.

Yeah, tOSU does not look like the #1 team in the country but if they make the playoffs they'd be the favorites (along with Alabama if they get in too.)

WVU has had trouble with Oklahoma mainly due to TOs. The Mountaineers have averaged 5 TOs per game against the Sooners as Big XII members. It's hard to win when you can't hold onto the ball.

Every season is topsy turvy. It is a sport played by 18-22 kids. Heck, I disdain making season predictions after Week 2 like some posters and "experts" do. I just don't see the need for a separate thread.

Now, that what was needed to be said to the ObsessedOne, I actually agree with Bit. At this point, the teams we thought would be dominant are not dominating and teams that we thought would be middle of the pack are showing they may be carrying the conference this year.


With that being said, the SEC doesn't look all that great either. Ole Miss deserved a #3 ranking huh? Yeah I think I was the only one around here not crowning Kelly as a good quarterback. The SEC is primed to look just as bad if not worse once they are done cannibalizing each other.
