We need SMU to win this. Albany is not helping us at all. I still think many of you gave them way too much credit for that win against URI. Lehigh isn't helping. We've done little to show we can beat the top FCS teams. I do believe SMU was good for us, but in all fairness to our team, there are few power FCS teams out there today and our AD doesn't want to schedule them anyway so what does it matter. Let's travel to Norfolk State, that'll convince everyone we are worthy.

I hope SMU smacks around the rest of their opponents. There was so much drama on the AAC board about how bad SMU has fallen to lose to an "FCS team like JMU". They don't give us credit for how good our team is and many think SMU is at the bottom of their pile. They're going to learn the hard way...

Not to mention that by the transitive property of football, every win SMU has from here on out is an fbs win for us

Illinois St beats UNI 21-13...doesn't help us as we were ahead of UNI in both polls....but we should move up at least one spot as either NDSU or SDSU will lose tonight. Jax St and Coastal cruised today

Whoever wins the NDSU / SDSU game will get ranked above us (as they should) so I don't see us moving up a slot as a result of that game.

Coastal and Jacksonville St have a cake walk the rest of the year (except maybe Coastal vs Liberty) so with our weakened CAA I don't see us overtaking either of them by the end of the season unless they choke.

Agreed with Jax & CC....both NDSU and SDSU are currently ranked ahead of us in the STATS poll which is the former Sports Network I think (but we're ahead of SDSU in the coach's)...so we should certainly pass the loser of tonight's game in the STATS
