They are really overrated but I did not expect Purdue to be within 2 scores at the start of the 4th quarter. And MSU football fans, are you kidding me, you have a 2nd ranked team in the nation and a little bit of rain and cool temps keep you away from the Big 10 opener?! Sad. Maybe the incoming light rain could dampen the homecoming spirit at CMU hopefully, make it a little less intimidating.

MSU escaped a marching Purdue team in the end. One of Purdue's only 2 penalties held them back on that final push of the drive (even though it was only 5 yard penalty).
