Ole Miss secondary also suspect as is their o-line.

the 2003 team was led by Wimprine and D. Williams...I don't remember them being too bad. We went 9-4 that year and won our first bowl game in many years with that squad.

I think the line will be 14 to 20. We've had earlier opponents' receivers get behind our secondary but they either dropped passes or were over thrown. Ole Miss has fast, tall WRs and they could score a lot of points on us. The challenge will be to keep up. Against their defense.

They are definitely uneasy about the game. Their postgame radio guys were lamenting that Fuente, a good game plan guy, was going to have 15 days to prepare for them. Plus giving the usual weasel words-injuries, dinged up, no Tunsill (probably)...it all sounded like they were ready to be knocked off in the Liberty Bowl!!!!

The comparison to that game in 1996 was only to the fact that no one gave us a rat's chance in hell of beating UT, and through sheer will and guts and playing our very best, we did. That's all. I expect that kind of effort Saturday. And I expect us to win.

I wonder if our collegiate Tigers can defeat a semi pro team.

I was pretty happy about this when I saw the schedule this year

I dont care who is out for Ole Miss, if Nkemdiche is healthy its going to be a long day for us.
