Idk how it will turn out, but you don't lie in this venue.
This is where the rubber meets the road.

I link this video only because it is Andre's limited response. Apparently, he knew her when he played at UofL......

As Kieffner is named as the book's publisher and is the subject of the subpoena today, it looks like IBJ's LLC tactic has worked. She will (hopefully) have to explain Maurer's relationship and investment of time, resources, and connections with her company.

Powell youngest daughter charged with prostitution.

http://www.wdrb.com/story/30440801/crawf...louisville

Known as “Shay” in her mother’s book, the daughter of Katina Powell has recently used the name “Chloe Cash” and “Cocaine Chloe” in social media ads. She most recently was scheduled to perform at a club in Atlanta, according to a post on an Instagram account bearing her photos.

The attorney listed for her hearing on Wednesday was Bart McMahon. He didn’t immediately return a message from WDRB.

According to the citation, an undercover detective conducting a human trafficking investigation at the Holiday Inn Louisville East off Hurstbourne Parkway contacted Moorman through an advertisement on Backpage.com. She asked the officer for “150 roses,” and upon his arrival at the room had brought condoms and asked the detective to “get comfortable” as she began to undress.

I've heard rumors that the daughters were on the "backpage" before KP even k ew about it. Wonder how long?

Week in review.

http://www.wdrb.com/story/30460354/crawf...-in-review

Thursday was a case in point. It was deadline day for a grand jury subpoena for the IBJ Book Publishing division, publisher of “Breaking Cardinal Rules: Basketball and the Escort Queen.” But the information that was requested was sent to the office electronically, or by mail or courier, so there was no in-person appearance — not that anyone would’ve spoken to the media anyway.

A source close to Louisville’s investigation told me they expect the school’s investigation to run through January, at least. And perhaps a little longer.

On top of the NCAA process, which can be lengthy, if legal proceedings were to begin against any of the parties involved, that could stretch the process out further.

One of the significant pieces of news this week was the hearing for Katina Powell’s youngest daughter, known in the book as Shay, stemming from a prostitution arrest in Louisville on June 19 of last year. She is due back in court in January.

But Powell’s daughter also is wanted in Indianapolis after a prostitution arrest there on June 4, 2014. The last court action shows a warrant issued for her arrest after a failure to appear on Feb. 20 of this year.

So with the youngest daughter Shay contradicting and not supporting the book and 5 other women named in the book now joining a defamation lawsuit against Powell/Cady/IBJ owned by IU booster, the truth as to what happened is slowly being discovered.

^^^Here is what I think is an important excerpt from the article about Pitino.

Of more pertinence is what Wilder had to say when asked whether he thought U of L coach Rick Pitino knew anything about the alleged actions. He said he didn’t doubt former director of basketball operations Andre McGee told Powell that, “Rick knows everything.” But Wilder said he sees nothing in the evidence Powell has that would link Pitino directly to anything that happened.

“As a lawyer, I can tell you as we sit here right now today, I have no knowledge of any demonstrative evidence, any admissible evidence, any circumstantial evidence, that would cause me as a lawyer to believe that there is any ability to demonstrate that coach Rick Pitino had knowledge of what was gong on,” Wilder said. “I can say that without hesitation, having had benefit of all the information I have."

Wilder said Powell hasn’t taken a polygraph test. He noted that the players who have come forward to corroborate portions of her account are all the polygraph she needs, along with the journals and text messages she has. (Two sources have told WDRB that U of L coach Rick Pitino voluntarily offered to take a polygraph test, and passed. Polygraphs are not admissible as evidence in court. Pitino is declining any comment on the investigation on the advice of counsel.)

I may very well be mistaken, but it looks like KP had some semblance of a diary that the publishing company created a journal from and then the book was based on the journal. The question I have is when did KP's ramblings stop and writings with intent begin? At what point did KP decide to start setting people up? I have no idea but it appears that at some point, things changed with the purpose of her notes. Total guess on my part. Pure speculation.

All sounds reasonable, that does seem to be where the dots take you.
