Guys, I'm still on a high from last night. Couldn't sleep because I kept wanting to read the reactions on Twitter and trouble focusing today. Gotta get after it this afternoon.

I finally dozed off after 2am as I was wired. Today is long.

I am still rallied up from last night's game as I type this. It is a miracle that I fell asleep afterward.

I'm still all fired up, but am having mixed emotions. I'm glad we won, but am so pissed we lost to Temple and Memphis. I kept tossing and turning over the above. I think we will beat BYU, and finish 10-2, but those two conference losses will prevent us from playing for the AAC Championship.

I think the cats played about as well as possible last night...and I think that's the kind of game they'll need to play if they're going to win in Provo.

I'd like to believe that we'll see the Cats we saw last night every week from here on out, but I wouldn't bet on winning out to get to 10-2.

They played great but there's plenty of room for improvement. We dropped at least two should-have-been interceptions in the first half. Hayden played great but made a bad decision telegraphing that interception. A shanked punt. Plus there were a lot of breaks that did not go our way aside from injuries (including arguably our top 3 . Miami's one fumble bounces right into another Miami player's hands. Their big flea flicker was a catch just barely off the ground. There were quite a few very questionable calls that didn't go our way along with several others I'd have liked to have seen again.
