Under the new aggregate giving model unveiled by UCATS this past spring, a donor’s total annual contribution to UC Athletics will determine his/her giving level. As a result, donors are slotted into one of 11 giving levels with priority points separating each donor within the same level. Raising your level means raising your impact and perks. In plain English, your POWER UP gift can launch you into a new level of priority like never before.
Let’s show you how it works. UCATS member Joe Bearcat currently gives at the Bearcats Backer level ($50). Instead of being happy where he is, Joe takes the opportunity to POWER UP to the Varsity level ($150). Now, Joe is a happy Bearcat as he will leapfrog all donors at the Bearcats Backer level. Simply put, Joe Bearcat will power past approximately 1,200 donors for priority purposes. That’s not all! Joe Bearcat has scored added benefits such as receiving an invitation to the annual UCATS Riverboat Cruise
