Miami's problem is that they are Miami. Miami is a terrible sports city relative to its size. People in the city seem to have issues with supporting all sorts of institutions from sports all the way to things like orchestras. It has been a problem for a real long time.

The caveat normally is if they are winning and winning big they will temporarily support something more but they will quickly disperse if it reverts.
