"The LSU-Virginia Tech football game that was scheduled for the 2004 season opener has been moved to 2007.

The move was necessitated when ESPN and Virginia Tech were unable to reach agreement to schedule a Black Coaches Association Classic game for Virginia Tech in 2004."

It's a shame we won't play again next year. I was looking forward to another beatdown like we put on you in the 'Burg last year. 03-nutkick

Yep, we will still play them. I think moving to the ACC was part of the reason for pushing the game back though.

With the guys we have coming back next year, I would have loved to play LSU next year. 2007 is the year after Marcus Vick graduates, so we will have to break in a new QB for that game. :crying:

I iived in Newport News and Yorktown for 11 years and I have some really good friends there so I like to see Virginia and Virginia Tech do good. I really do believe though the way LSU's D is playing that they would have taken you guys. I do agree that 2007 is going to be a different story though. To far in the future to predict. 04-cheers
