Very possible all 8 are bowl teams.
Baylor has the Big 12. Right now- those 9 games- 3 bowl eligible teams, and a 5 win team. Pretty much no chance at 8 bowl teams, and quite possibly only 6-7.
THEN- Alabama could have a CCG and another bowl team. Plus Wisconsin OOC.
Sorry but Georgia and Tennessee have been living on their name brands this year in regards to rankings and what not.
Having four ooc games instead of three makes it much easier to become bowl eligible so some of these stats you are trying to use simply do not hold weight in regards to an SEC vs big 12 comparison.
But then the Big 12 has Kansas, which may be the worst team in all of college football. So, you are wrong there.
That may indeed be true. I don't know if that makes me wrong, that just means I have to point out that the likes of Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Georgia, Vandy, Kentucky and South Carolina were all mediocre at best this year.
but the likes of West Virginia, Texas Tech, Iowa St, Kansas St, Texas were all mediocre at best as well this year.
Yes but Texas Tech and Texas have actually been competitive at times against the major programs this year for the big 12. Texas Tech has scored with everyone and Texas took down Oklahoma.
As we go into the final stretch, look for both of those teams to play the spoiler if they are overlooked. Can you say that about any of those SEC teams I listed? I doubt it.
