I think the best game for the Tech Dawgs in Tuscon would be against Fresnick for "The Battle of the Bone"

My guess is SBC will be primary backup, much like other conferences have done. MWC looks very unlikely to have a team this year for that spot.

I don't think they'll be eligible this year, they're pretty bad. It would be an easy win probably if they were!

Figures! Same thing with Texas. This would be one of the few years where a CUSA team would have a shot at UT, but they stink to bad to qualify!!

I would much rather see UTEP play in the Arizona Bowl than the New Mexico Bowl. The weather is much better during that time of year.

The date is one of the better ones in our bowl lineup.

Great potential add for UTEP ... most don't realize that it's only a 4-5 hour drive between El Paso and Tucson.

Initial TV parter is CampusInsiders online only. Bowl still working with traditional TV partners.

Online only? Good grief, I can only imagine how tiny the payouts might be.

Expected to announce tv partner in a few days. You know it will be on even if it's ASN.
