Wow, so ND should've won that game. They really should've. All those TO literally killed them.

4-0 Bring on the bugs.

Good thing I have to stay up to monitor the creek behind my Mom's house for flooding because I doubt I could sleep if I wanted to after that finish.

Creek. We don't live in the mountains.

(They say it there too)

This thing is normally about 30' wide, the bank behind her house is usually 3-4' higher than the water level and the creek is usually around 4' deep. It's a good 15' up the bank and I would estimate it's at least 15' deep now looking at where the water level is on the trees and rising and it's still pouring here. Would probably be worse but the property owner about a mile downstream took three boards out of the spillway of his pond. If it gets much higher I'm going to force her to come stay here because there's a good possibility she could get stranded because of flooding cutting off the road on either side of her house. She's stubborn though, and had surgery earlier this week so she's ornery as well.

Good luck Kap! That sounds like a very dicey situation.

Technically, wouldn't that be more of a warm-up game?

Catdaddy: Stay dry and safe.

I guess on the plus side the reservoirs down in the GA/Carolinas ought to be raising to normal levels now.

Oh boy, I'm so glad FSU won and we have an 8pm ABC game in Tallahassee again. It's the perfect showcase of why Al Golden needs to be fired. As much as I hate FSU part of me wants us to lose horribly so he gets fired immediately.

Not sure FSU has the offense to help you out there.

But I think your major issue is that Golden has a huge buyout and not sure Miami can afford it.

Maybe. I don't remember, was Goulson on Notre Dame in 2012? If so, he will have free pickings against UM this year. Honestly, the financial impact of keeping Golden around might be just as bad. We're losing games left and right, fans are pulling donations.

FSU's receivers can't catch when Golson is accurate, which isn't common. Their running backs are dropping like flies. FSU-Miami might be one of those 15-13 games from the mid '00s.
