So we beat 1-3, #91 SDSU, and we are 2-2, #120. That makes no sense to me.

This poll is crap.

Northwestern is 4-0 at #38. They beat #13 Stanford by 10 at home and #19 Duke by 9 on the road. That makes no sense.

Arkansas is 1-3 at #27. They lost to unbeaten Toledo at home, which is ranked at #50. What?

Temple is 3-0 and ranked #39. They are ranked behind #22 Penn State, despite beating them easily 27-10.

These power rankings have a lot of flaws.

Look for them to be solid at week 7.

App may very well be #49 but they haven't done anything yet this year that would convince me of that. Lots of teams behind them with what I would consider better resumes thus far.
