What's the chances of the game being postponed? I'm hearing rumors of bad flooding in the area w/ no letdown of rain for days to come.... Any truth?

Quote:Virginia Tech has closed Smithfield Road from the Horse Center to Plantation Road, and Duck Pond from Oak Lane to Grove Road due to flooding.

Oak Lane and Grove Road remain open to traffic. The Duck Pond has come up over the road at the bridge on Duck Pond.

Sounds like the Duck Pond is flooded, but that's about it for now.

RE: Pitt vs VT
They are closing some parking lots that flooded this week.

The field has dryers under it. They can drain tons of water. We played during Isabel and the field held up well. They said the game will only be cancelled for lighting.
