Saw he got popped by a local PD going 50 mph over the speed limit day after Cinci win, then PD ran his DL and found out he had a felony arrest warrant out on him in TX (where he was from).

Always thought the PD's that work with the team (or at least an SID) run generally background checks so things like this don't pop up.

Was TX warrant bogus and/or will he still be able to play this year?

I'm guessing it was a failure to appear or failing to call in with his probation officer, something from 2013. Either way he wasn't extradited and is already out on his own recognizance. I'm sure Fuente will make him sorry he was going 50 over the speed limit. I would guess he'll be back for the Mississippi game.
