That is potentially huge. If he cannot go, and with the Marshall QB issues, we really might be able to contain their offense.

I don't think I'd get my hopes up for him to not play. Sounds like he's only missed one practice, and I would expect him to play.

It greatly affects their effective depth at RB. Pittman performed very well vs Kent State, but they (sparingly) used only one other RB.

Neither team will want to overly rely on their freshman QBs Saturday...current game day forecast is 55 degrees, 15 MPH winds and a 99% chance of heavy rain (1.5" forecast).

It started with the NSU game and got worst as the weeks went by. I love Ol' Dirty, but this game will be bad, especially since the weather will suck. The defense will keep the numbers low, especially since Devon Johnson is iffy.

Win,lose or draw, I want to see some signs from BW and his O/C that they have the coaching chops to make significant adjustments. Even if the kids don't execute, I want to see something more than Lawry up the middle this weekend. If the coaches can't figure out how to adjust to the situation, we might need to start asking some questions. I for one am sick of this vanilla, predictable offense that doesn't have a chance at being successful.

Well, we might have a hurricane to deal with so that can distract us from the ODU game lol

If simply changing plays were the answer, I'd have confidence that Wilder and company would do that.

I would like to think you are correct, but last Saturday's first play tells a different story. 3-4 defense and our best player gets the ball on 3rd and 10. Scott gets too cute for his and the teams own good and that just will not work at this level.

I mean, no one likes a 3rd down run when it isn't successful, but we have done pretty well at it in the early part of the year.

3rd and long runs (or screens) deep in your own territory are pretty standard for most teams. Maybe you catch them sleeping and pick up a 1st...but your main goal is to protect the punt and maybe add a few yards onto it.

I think we're being paid back for the relatively good weather for the first 6 years of games. I only remember two miserable and couple drizzly games the previous years!

The tailgate for the JMU game and the EMU game stand out to me. Can't think of many others.

Oh come on.

"Earlier" in the year we played a pitiful EMU who is allowing close to 400 yds per game rushing and a MEAC FCS team allowing over 300 yds a game rushing.
And that was BEFORE opposing coaches picked up our single ended inside handoff rushing pattern.

Really?

Add The Delaware Oyster bowl. The tailgate was miserable, and there were very few fans left at the end. I still have my ODU poncho from that game. Hampton blvd was still flooded when we left the hotel on Sunday.

The EMU tailgate was wet and windy. If I remember, Drunkard13 looked like a drowned rat. 05-stirthepot
