Now 20 posts on people nervous about the passing game in the "gusty" 20 mph wind.

But I thought the direction from Tribal was to comment incessantly on the weather?

When speaking of the weather, everyone wants to talk about it, but no one wants to do anything about it.

You are obviously not familiar with working for a big corporation.

There's an entire industry devoted to trying to control it - or at least shift some money around - led by Ozone man himself.

My 7 yo doesn't listen to me so I don't expect a bunch of Tribe fans to be any more cooperative.

I like ol Joe C on the Hens board but he is dead set on convincing his fellow UD fans that Cluley doesn't have a strong arm.

He only watched the SBU game. I guess he missed the bullet to Caskin for the TD.

Also that UD missed the boat going to Sun Belt or MAC.

Maybe Joe C should go to a UMass or Georgia State game. He wouldn't feel so bad with only getting 15,000 to show up for Lafayette.

The reason the UD fans are upset about 15,000 is that they used to be a consistent 20,000+ but that went down over the past 5 years or so big time partially due to seat licenses I believe and other reasons. Record over the past 5 years has to hurt too but doesn't account for such a large drop alone. they used to always be #2-4 in FCS in attendance and that has dropped. I have to imagine this is going to be a horrible year numbers wise because weather has been horrible for their home games and this is another one like that.

2005 - 22,177
2006 - 21,825
2007 - 21,510
2008 - 21,609
2009 - 20,750
2010 - 17,753
2011 - 19,019
2012 - 18,542
2013 - 18,108
2014 - 15,682
2015 - 15,141 (2 games)

Good info, two things:
1) That trend is being felt everywhere, not just UD.
2) When you stop winning, fans drop off

The dart he threw 24 yards to Armstrong wasn't to shabby either. Even in bad weather he's got some zip on the ball.

I hope Joe C. is successful in convincing the team and coaching staff of UD that Cluely doesn't have a strong arm. It would be nice to see a couple drop into the hands of receivers behind defenders for scores.

I don't think WM is in a position where they can talk crap to Delaware about attendance.
