Coastal Update: Road to National Title Continues.
I didn't see a post for the Coastal result but they have now moved to 4-0 beating the Bryant University Bulldogs of the Northeast Conference (NEC): 31-17. Great job Coastal! Get that title and move up in style!

That's the plan. Nothing like retiring with the Championship Belt

CCU would finish in the top 6 in the Belt this year.

Likely higher. I'd say Top 4, maybe Top 3.

Our team is 4-0 but they have a long way to go before I start considering them to be contenders for the FCS title. They have not played well at all and are lucky to be 4-0 IMO.

Our QB has been dealing with injuries and it has slowed down our offense. Our defense has never really been that good under Moglia but it never mattered because our offense was always so dominant. If they continue to play like this they will drop 1 or 2 conference games against Liberty and/or Charleston Southern.

I was at the game Bryant could pass at will it seemed.
They kinda stopped themselves with mistakes a couple times the game was pretty even.
Good crowd especially for Bryant I follow college football and have never heard of them.
Compared to the casual fan who when I've talked to them about Coastal joining the SBC they don't who is in the SBC.

Coastal is great at all the extra fan entertainment.
The video game replay of a touchdown was funny.
Having a cartoon version of the mascot staring down the opposing kicker.
The band the dancers the branding all are top notch and nicely done.
My oldest son went to the game with me he is not a sports fan but really enjoyed it.

That is the thing with all the movement. Their are a lot of casual fans that couldn't tell you which conference Colorado, Utah or Nebraska is in. Most wouldn't know about the ACC-Notre Dame connection. They dang sure don't know who is in CUSA, AAC and the SBC. That is where a little stability in any of the G5 conferences would put them ahead of all the other G5 conferences. The MAC has turned into a good conference in one season, the directional Michigan schools are playing well, the Ohio schools are playing well and winning, schools and athletes know who they are recruiting against and playing, every year.
