Exclamation Army 1st Victory of the 2015 Campaign
Army smashes EMU 58-36 on their ugly gray field in front of about 15 fans and 30 popcorn vendors.

But it is a win, even if few saw it.

On to PSU!

04-cheers EMU should drop to FCS and give JMU their place. JMU actually has fans.

Congrats to Army on a road-win. Great to see some signs of life in West Point football.

The last time they've had two consecutive winning seasons was 1989 and 1990. If they improved, I'd love to see them join. As they currently are, they'd just hurt strength of schedule.

If Army were half as good as Navy it would be a no brainer. 05-stirthepot

Wouldn't the "Vendors" count as fans too?!? If so, than your math is a little off.

Total fans = 45

Congrats on your first W

04-cheers

The way I look at it, even a bad Army is a good addition, especially if they were paired with BYU (Army FB, BYU all sports). They bring enough TV value and gate appeal to make it worth it. As bad as they've been, the ACC, SEC and B1G count them as a p5 opponent for scheduling purposes. It's all about brand.

Plus you're considered a Power team now...join the AAC! We could use the political clout.

The JMU administration is afraid to move up. Leave EMU there. At least they want to be there and win once in a Blue Moon. By the way we get the Blue / Red Moon here on the East Coast tonight starting at 9:07 PM. Next one will be here in 2033. COGS 02-13-banana 04-jawdrop 07-coffee3 04-cheers

As I have said here before, if Army must join a conference, I wish it to be the American.

Not to make any excuses, but Army is 10 points away from being undefeated. But football is a harsh mistress whose charms are constantly swayed, but our point differential is funny and sad at the same time.

It's imperative that Army maintain some continuity and keep their current coach.
