not even halftime and this one is pretty much over

Once they announced fredi was out (hour before kick off) I knew we were done for. Young tabary has potential but second start ever against Toledo=fail.

Still like you guys ill be rooting for yall to win the MAC

Yall are just kicking our tails. No excuses. It's embarrassing to present you this kind of an opponent/game.
Wow.

Our D is WAY beyond expectations. Don't fret. McKissick and Wand a lot of fun to watch, against another team.

McKissic showed a bit, but Wand never got going.....he was fun to watch in previous games.

Congrats to you all. It could/should have been 50-7....or more.

Red Wolves fans--you've been classy on our Board and the few that spoke with at the game were great. You guys just ran into a Rocket D tonight that pretty much came out possessed. As potent as our offense was last season, it's been pretty average so far but the D has played very, very well. Good luck in the Sun Belt! I'll be watching your scores!

Well, Tabary made some nice throws. Come the 2nd half I really expected our DL to make it harder on him than they did, but the OL really hung in there. I think, like in the bowl game, some mistakes and flukey things that caused turnovers cost the Red Wolves dearly. This game certainly didn't resemble the bowl game. You wouldn't think it was the same two teams!

I have enjoyed our series with you guys and hope we continue to schedule each other after next year. Hope my family can make the trip west next fall. Not that my opinion means anything, but if a new football only conference is ever created out of the existing G5's, it would be great to have AState (and WKU) included.

RE: Congrats toledo...again
The Rockets' defense was lights out up front and the secondary is so much improved over last year. Sorry Coach Anderson, but this is the not same defense you saw in January. The young OL continues to keep Ely upright; no sacks this season. And, particularly after both NG went out for aState, the running lanes opened up. Guess, when they added another official, they thought they had to throw more flags. Holding calls against Rockets' opponents have been occurring on a regular basis. Seems the opposing offensive lines can't handled the Rockets defensive front.

Put this one behind you and get ready for Sunbelt action. Good luck Red Wolves!

Yeah, you guys have a great team, and we're still trying to rebuild from the 5 coaches in 5 years thing. Hopefully we'll be able to present much more of a challenge next year at our place...even if we'll have a brand new QB and be without McKissic

Please run the table and make the access bowl for us, that would make this look a whole lot better. Until then, we're going to go hide in a corner for a while hoping today was just a terrible nightmare.

Akron helped avenge that loss, too.

The week was on-paper Good for the MAC, in spirit decent/okay, in emotionally Agonizing:

- Ohio blowing it against Minnesota
- Kent State not beating Marshall
- NIU not able to beat @BC

3 tight ones that could have gone either way. MAC was 1-3 in those tight ones. But beat the spread on all 4 of those tight ones at least.

buffalo lost in the final minutes by 3 to nevada. central had the ball within a score in the 4th quarter against the #2 in the country. a lot of decent teams in the mac. only 1 really good one so far. and it the Rockets of Toledo led by a punishing and opportunistic defense.

RE: Congrats toledo...again
I'm not sure I could pick Toledo to beat BG, Western or NIU at this point in the season. Maybe after Hunt is back and healthy and our receivers start to make more grabs. The one thing we have going for us is that we get both Western and NIU at home (I think) and it is at the end of the season when our depth may become a deciding factor through the long season. We should be able to keep guys fresh and the wear and tear down to a minimum. Getting away from our own horrid field where we have been able to stay relatively injury free should be a bit of a blessing.

Been a long time since we have put a physically imposing defense on the field. We are going to intimidate a lot of RB's and receivers with those DL's and LB's - and of course, Rogers. A defense like that usually keeps getting better and they feed off one another.

Just hope the O-line continues to develop. It is a pretty athletic group of guys, and they should get more and more used to the schemes used.

Well day after our debacle of a game and just want to say again congrats. Truth be told, I'm not all angry about the game (angry about how crappy we played) but can't be mad at y'all-2015 Toledo Rockets are a fine team and I'm pulling for Toledo to run the table, beat NIU (please beat NIU) and get into the new years day bowl

Any Rockets fan that makes the trip to Jonesboro next year, find my tailgate you get a free beer on me.
