Furthermore, UCONN actually contributes to this conference via basketball. We can lose every football game every year and still be a value add to this conference. Houston is mediocre in its go-to sport. That's gotta suck.

We'll see how valuable Yukon is once Jim Calhoun's recruits leave campus once and for all. They already missed the Dance last year.

Such a great b-ball program, yet UH has as many Final Fours despite being in a coma for three decades. I'll give you credit for at least winning when you got there (though you also didn't face some of the greatest teams ever and the luckiest/clutchest team ever) but we'll see what happens when Ollie is completely on his own.

Hahahahahahahahahhaahhaah. Not enough LOL's to respond. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Houston is not on the same planet as UCONN when it comes to basketball. Thanks for the laugh though... 03-lmfao 03-lmfao 03-lmfao

RE: Houston vs Texas st Thread
CTH has these guys ready to go, especially early. That is a big difference from last year. Sophmore Javin Webb is now the 2nd string rb behind Farrow, displacing Sr. Ryan Jackson (1500 career rushing yards, 4.8 per carry). CTH means business and it shows.

Just returning the smack. Kelvin Sampson could suddenly revive UH hoops and by the end of this year UH once again could pass UConn in Final Four appearances and tie Cincinnati. And Cincy knows something about going into a 30 year coma in basketball (and between Final Fours), so it can happen.

I was more disapointed than worried at first... I mean, I know we have explosive talent on both sides of the ball, and a small margin victory wouldn't of been expectable for me.

At this pace, we might break our all time scoring record.

What are these Final Fours you keep talking about? UCONN wins National Championships.

I was worried because of the style of offense TXST runs, and how we have historically struggled against it, but Herman's boys are proving to be much different than Briles'/Sumlin's/Levine's.

Is Texas State going to ask for a running clock at halftime?
