RE: Baylor post-game thread
Was out of country last Saturday so missed the carnage live.

Just made the mistake of watching the 1st half. My god. I don't think we've made any progress.

Those offensive snaps where Baylor brought the house and just flattened driphus and our offensive brain trust seemingly had no awareness of what a hot route is were particularly discouraging. Just yuck

And another thing... do they not realize that that is precisely what our snails pace on offense allows? Gives the defense a full 25 seconds to plot / position their blitz of the passer... And know approximately when the ball is going to be snapped!

No we don't.

But if we had Boise's record, we would.

Completely agree with that. People love a winner and folks jump on the bandwagon. TCU and Baylor have leveraged their football success into University success, jumping up many spots on the USNWR list. TCU has jumped over 50 spots and actually made it into the top 100, which is incredible to me considering their academic reputation when I was a student at Rice(I think TCU and Texas Tech were the 2 worst in academics in the old SWC?).

They have also leveraged themselves into arrests, suspensions and dismissals.
