McMurphy and ESPN just did an interesting coaches poll. They asked G5 coaches which P5 school would they most want to coach at and they asked P5 coaches what G5 school they would most want to coach at.

They don't say how many responses they got but they list the top 5 for each question and the results are kind of interesting. I'll post their results in a follow-up post so you can guess for yourself before finding out if you so desire.

Few very surprising results. Army at #2 above Navy? Stanford in the top 3 (above every SEC school)? ND at #1 still today?

Surprising results. Que the B14 fans complaining about espn having an SEC bias.

It's a coaches poll. If anything, the "espn" view leans the other way in this piece. The ESPN host mistakenly guessed both OSU and Wisconsin as making the top 5 P5s. (He also guessed Oregon which made him 0 for 3 before McMurphy put him out of his misery and revealed the answers.)

Holy Shiite, no THE osu?

My guess on the service academies is that coaches see some purity still at those locations. As others state I get Navy but Army is a bit of a head scratcher

While I was watching the UC-Memphis game on Thursday, the WVU (women's) Volleyball coach and his assistants came in. They started discussing Hawai'i (he is Hawai'ian) and he was saying just how bad the whole UH athletic infrastructure is...funding, facilities....everything. UH athletics is a total dumpster-fire, not just FB...

I think it's funny that Wisconsin was one of the guesses. Haven't coaches been leaving recently because they are controlling coaches' salaries?

The more interesting thing would be to know which coaches participated in the poll.

Considering they lost their coach to OSU after the OSU coach went to Nebraska they're two steps down the ladder from a conference for. And their previous coach left for SEC bottom feeder Arkansas. Ridiculous anyone would guess they'd be on the list
