No, you WILL lose!
We'll see what happens in a couple weeks, but I know we're winning this week.
Delighting in the misery of others? Funny, I thought Memphis cornered the market on that. Didn't know Navy knew that sort of thing.
Lighten up, Francis. No need to get all butthurt over a little smack.
Best of luck to UCONN in the future.
What is this obsession by you and Memphis fans over another person's butt?

You must have an ex from Memphis. That is the only explanation for your obsessive hatred!
Nope, not at all. My 'obsessive hatred', as you call it, is my way of giving back to every Memphis fan that mocked and ridiculed me when I called out the former player who swung his helmet with intent to injure and/or maim.
you weren't ridiculed for making the statement. You were ridiculed for making it repeatedly and acting like the 3 second long of one person (who is no longer with the team) is some sort of statement on the program as a whole.
A 4th grader would get that it isn't.
Maybe Sean McQuillan can explain to you how the actions of one player doesn't always reflect on the coach or team.

It's our own fault that he keeps it up. He's a puppet master and some Tiger fans keep reacting to his nonsense.
After 9 months we should have learned that's all he's after; he pulls the string, we react, and he gets a good laugh.....again and again. We're serving his entertainment needs.
I believe that he is intelligent enough to fully understand the whole story. Repeating it another 100 times only results in his further entertainment at Tiger fans' expense.

You may be right; on the other hand, he seems really disturbed to me.
People this obsessed are a little off center scary and may need to seek medical help. Get some meds or something. Maybe an exorcism.

RE: ^^^^^ Navy @ UCONN Official Game Thread ^^^^^
Here's what we learned from this game:
Navy is a very dangerous team. Playing Army does not prepare you for Navy. Army relies on big plays. Navy relies on first downs... over and over. Navy's defense is going to give up a ton of yards when they play Memphis, Houston and Notre Dame. How those teams finish drives determines how Navy finishes this season. I really hope Navy can keep Notre Dame under 30 points... every team Notre Dame has played has had some bad losses... that's a much softer schedule than it seemed. Georgia Tech looked bad today. Virginia was horrible vs. Boise. UMass came out strong today. I think Navy can do that too. I don't think Navy will be held scoreless for a quarter vs. Notre Dame. If Notre Dame throws over the middle successfully, Navy may not be able to keep up with the scoring.. same with against Memphis.
UConn is a year away. Both teams had three long drives, no punts, no turnovers and Navy had a 21-10 lead. UConn blew a 4th down play, had a drive stall... some of that is on Navy's defense but some of it is on UConn. But as a UConn fan, you have to be happy with the improved special teams, ability to sustain drives (just not finish them) and protect the ball. Last year UConn would have lost this game by 5 touchdowns, yet this year they lost by 10. Navy has a senior/experienced roster. They finished series, drives, quarters strong. UConn needs to be that team next year. Couple other things on UConn... receivers are way better than I thought they would be. Sherrifs' arm is OK but they will struggle against better teams where they don't have a true "deep threat". UConn really needs to settle the kicking situation. It really should be a strength. They just need to pick one and stick with it and stop with the fakes and long 4th down goes. They have two decent kickers... a luxury.. and it's become a weakness.

Oh NOW you want to make a point! I, and others, post a coherent point and the best your feeble mind can come up with is...
Why don't you just put that in any UCONN thread instead.

To be fair....it was a better defense than ECU's.

Hats off to Navy. Being able to go into the home of the top defense in the conference and has a one dimensional offense and still be able to win by 10. Only 5 pass attempts the entire game.

While it's still early, I didn't expect Navy to be in the running for the AAC championship in year one. Those games at Memphis and Houston are going to be interesting.

You defended the triple option better, yes.

Well you guys did manage to pull off the same feet we did against them, let them score a TD on every single possession of the first half. I agree that I think your defense is better than ECU's, but Navy's offense is for real.
