We're overdue for a 41-7 win. So... 41-7.

Thread is about GSU but some of us on here do care about any game Coastal plays. We still need you to beat Liberty. Not so much for who they are just that you need to take care of business your last year in FCS.

If I were a GA St. fan I wouldn't discuss openers. Liberty is a solid program and will be able to score on an average FBS defense, I saw it first hand last year.

The real victory for Georgia State will come, if a full row of seats are filled.

Rhode Island was mid season. I'm feeling lucky. Or heartburn.

Ga State wouldn't beat a random D2 team by 2 or 3 TDs.

So seriously has anyone seen them play this year?

the fact that Panama is overly confident about his team beating anyone at this point is quite astonishing.

RE: Liberty vs. GA State
The responses to support GaSt have been weak at best. There have been pleas to win and playful threats of expulsion if you lose. If this conversation was about LU playing App St or GaSo, there would be huge and justified support with expectations, realistically so, of LU being beaten soundly by fellow SBC posters. But a program that has little to no support, from its conference members, based on won/loss, credibility, attendance, and how it has been a perpetual cellar dweller, has little validity to talk smack. This is about playing the game on the field and not about conference affiliation. And that's why there's doubt you'll win.

Simply win some FBS games and the support will come from SBC posters. GaSt simply has not earned credibility to talk smack and be taken seriously. And you'll have your hands full Saturday. It's a game you should win. It's a home game. It's FBS vs. FCS. Still there is doubt GaSt will win. Can I get a LOL?

LOL

You're kind of nuts. What was that long soliloquy about? Who cares about support. How will you stop a Top 35 FBS offense . That is what you should really be concerned about. And oh yeah we didn't start this thread or start the smack talk. By the way, WRs Donovan Harden and Avery Sweeting are back this week. Bring your track shoes.

the question is how will the 13th worst defense in the country stop Liberty?

I admire Panama's unrelenting support for his team. GaSt could use lots more, thousands more like him, to support the program and attend games. When GaSt wins, then the support will come. Keyboard predictions needs to be preceded by victories.

Lemme see, a thread posted by a Liberty supporter about ticket allotments, then trolled by a GaSo supporter begging GSU to win to maintain the SBC's perfect record against FCS...this will end well.

For crap-sake's people, it's a football game....regarding support and predictions, well 3 wins in 3+ seasons will erode any team's support I'll wager and predictions, well, GSU is improving but inconsistent. We play the game.

I'm confident that GSU will win, we've a good offense and improving defense; Liberty is a good team, well coached, recent success, they ought to feel confident too (though losing to SIU was likely a huge disappointment and surprise). If our offense clicks, GSU wins no question. If we play like we did against Charlotte in the 1st quarter, toss-up game.
